How to apply the rice water:

How I made it?

There are many different ways to make this rice water treatment all of which I will be trying in my next for experiments.

For this round however, all I did was take the left over water from the pot when straining the rice after cooking it, put it in a bowl and then left it at one corner to cool off for about 30mins.

How I used it?

I used the rice water as a treatment, so I applied it to my hair and then covered it with a towel soaked with the rice water to generate some heat so that it can soak into the cuticle very well. I left it on for about 20 mins and then rinsed it out with warm water.

I continued the routine anytime I cooked rice 😅😅😅, so you might as well follow my routine or apply it daily to get a maximum results.

How I stored it?

Rice water should be stored in a jar, vessel or bottle with a lid at room temperature in a dry place. It can be consumed immediately, or over 4-5 days. The older the solution, the more concentrated, so you may need to dilute it with water with each passing day.

Rice water as a toner

Rice is rich in Insitol, which helps slow down ageing and also stimulates blood flow. It also has moisturizing antioxidant properties, which are totally what you need to keep your body timeless; furthermore, rice water prevents spots and hyper pigmentation from occurring.

Wash your face, and then pat dry with a clean face towel.
Dampen your cotton wool in rice water and apply in a circular motion all over your face.

This process can be done every night 😍😍.

Take Home Bonus 😉😉

Rice water can also be used to treat skin irritation and rashes. It is also used for cooling burns, easing the effects of eczema, cools redness from outbreaks and heals acnes.
